Happy Halloween

People would burn bonfires and dress up in costumes in an effort to ward off evil spirits. We love that element of Halloween and we love celebrating the harvests that the ceremonies also embraced! In fact, we are brewing Salem Witch Debra Lori’s personal brew as part of our preparation - what better way to be enjoy scents of fall like pine, apples, cinnamon and cloves? You can get your copy of her recipe by making a contribution to THE LAST WITCH today!
On the other hand, as we all know, none of the people who were convicted of witchcraft during the witch hunts and witch trials of the past were guilty of the crimes that they were charged with.
Did you know that the last time that Massachusetts exonerated people convicted of witchcraft during the Salem Witch Trials before Elizabeth Johnson Jr. was exonerated on July 28, 2022 was during Halloween in 2001?
Even today, many people who were convicted during the various witch hunts of the past remain judged, while others are victims of witch hunts that continue today.
Let’s free them all and let’s free everyone’s right to be a witch tonight - whether you believe or not!
Happy Halloween!
