Past, Present, Future…

Of all the people I’ve spent time with during the making of THE LAST WITCH, the person I’ve worked most closely with is our editor, Jeremy Lerman. Together, we’re spending days and nights shaping scenes from over 70 hours of raw footage. It’s a process I enjoy immensely.
What starts with over an hour of film often becomes a powerful few minutes. That is the case with the classroom moment when middle school students finally meet former Senator (now State Auditor) Diana DiZoglio, who helped them champion their bill through the Massachusetts legislature.

In that scene, past, present, and future converge. The students discover that their voices matter. They are not passive bystanders, but active participants in shaping the civic society they will inherit.
As political winds shift, their story reminds us:
The past echoes in the present — where do you see it?
The present is ours to engage in — what are you accepting without questioning?
The future is something we co-create — what are you doing to make it special?
It’s a lesson not just for them, but for all of us.
Please read on to find out why your support is so critical for us to continue carrying this message forward.
